An informal, friendly group of Pagans of all paths who meet for socialising, laughing, sharing of information, and networking. Our group's purpose is to create community. This is the original Portland Pagan Meetup that has been meeting in person at least once a month for 9 years. We are not in any way affiliated with the so-called "Portland Area Pagan and Witches Network," which is only a calendar, based in San Diego, and of questionable intent.
This Meetup has been created to bring the Pagan Community in and around Salem Oregon together. We are building community, a support system of love, acceptance and tolerance where like minded people can discuss, practice, learn, teach and network. We are also bringing Pagan Pride to Salem, Oregon October 6th, 2012! There is a large number of Pagans in Oregon. Bringing the community together benefits ALL of us!
The purpose and intention of this group is to form a community of people who are interested in the spiritual teachings and practices of the people of Northern Europe, Scandinavia and the British Isles prior to the Romans and the spread of Christianity.
